South of Serbia, at the Kosovo border, Macedonia and Bulgaria


  • not a seperate scientific species but a color-mutation of hermanni boettgeri
  • the color-mutation occurs 4/1000 times
  • usually attain 20-25 cm, but sometimes can measure up to 30 cm
  • look like albino hermanni's, but don't have the typical red albino iris
